Student Performance is one of three components in the Teacher Appraisal and Development System (TADS) and is weighted at 30% of a teacher’s Summative Rating. Combined with Instructional Practice and Professional Expectations, the Student Performance component of TADS is designed to help teachers set clear goals in the classroom while tracking progress throughout the year to ensure every student achieves rigorous standards. Multiple measures are designed to capture the performance of students’ performance using a variety of methods, resulting in a teacher’s Student Performance rating.
