| Many of you also may have had the opportunity to participate in Formative Assessment Seminar for School Learning Teams that Battelle for Kids conducted in the summer of 2009 for our district. Several participants shared that this was one of the best learning opportunities they had experienced and that they could clearly see how the use of high quality assessment strategies would allow them to better address our students’ individual learning needs. “As a result of this seminar, I will work on making my assessments more meaningful and make sure my students know and understand their targets for learning.”
