  • OAC Principal, Grant Fauver, Explains the Value of Connecting!
Check out this new blog post form Coshocton Principal Grant Fauver highlighting the success of this year's OAC Principal's Collaborative. He stresses the importance of connecting with other principals in the OAC to share practices and lessons learned, a true testament to the value of collaborating!

  • May CLP Meeting
Our beloved CLPs met on Wednesday of this week. A main focus was moving forward, talking about leveraging and connecting our CLPs to the next generation of collaboration with the OAC Straight A Project. Lots of conversation and sharing, and as always, lots of fun!
  • Join OAC Twitter Chats, Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
Our host this week was Melanie Wightman (@Mel_Wightman) and the #OACTeach Twitter chat topic was grading practices. Folks shared ideas on how to keep the grading focused on mastery, getting colleagues on the same page, shared some resources and generally had a great time sharing! Check out the archive of this chat here.

We look forward to seeing more OAC educators jump in next week! Just don't forget to include the hashtag #OACTeach when tweeting!

  • OAC Professional Practice Badges

Have you started your Share and Tweet badge? If not, you are missing out! Congratulations to the nearly 50 OAC educators have earned the Share and Tweet Badges (representing nearly half of the OAC districts), with lots more working through the badge tasks. More details about how you can earn the Share and Tweet badges can be found in this Connecting, Learning, and Sharing blog post from Julie Vujevich.

If you have completed a badge, don't forget to share this new resource for PD with your colleagues. Help us spread the word and grow the conversation!
