Welcome to December, and snow! We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your family and friends. We've had a very exciting week - here's what we've been up to:

  • OAC Personalized Learning Network Awarded Straight A Grant –Congratulations to the 27 districts in the OAC Personalized Learning Network who today were awarded a $15 million Straight A Fund grant from the Ohio Department of Education! The OACPLN is one of just 24 Straight A grants awarded out of more than 570 applications submitted. We are very excited about the impact the Straight A fund will have on our work moving forward in personalized learning, blended learning and dual enrollment, and helping all students be successful in postsecondary education. More information about the Straight A fund can be found on ODE's website.

  • Opportunity for English Teacher Dual Enrollment Credentialing – Through a partnership between the OAC and Ohio Dominican University (ODU), OAC English teachers in grades 7-12 have the opportunity to earn their master's degree in English through a flexible, blended learning program in 18 months. For more information, contact Pam Noeth at pnoeth@battelleforkids.org or visit www.ohiodominican.edu/MALS.

  • Sign Up to Receive Blog Posts Via E-mail – You can now sign up to have OAC blog posts delivered to your e-mail inbox. All you have to do is visit the OAC blog and click the "Follow blog via e-mail" button.
