Here's what we've been up to this week:

  • OSBA Capital Conference – We had several activities going on at the OSBA Capital Conference this week. OAC district representatives and Battelle for Kids staff presented on Monday about the OAC and the impact of collaboration in a rural district setting. On Tuesday, the OAC hosted a special luncheon at the conference for OAC board members and superintendents. Big thanks to board members and superintendents for supporting our work, and to all OAC educators for your hard work and making a difference for our students!

  • Ohio Can Help Rewrite Rural Education Narrative – Read the editorial by Richard Murray, Executive Director of CORAS, encouraging the Straight A Fund governing committee to support the OAC Personalized Learning Network proposal.

  • Leading and Learning Collaborative Workshop – We are looking forward to the next Leading and Learning Collaborative Workshop on November 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, Ohio. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with experts and practitioners to collaborate and learn about implementing powerful strategies to increase educator effectiveness through leading and learning. Join the conversation on Twitter leading up to and during the event using the hashtag #BFKSOAR. Hope to see you there!

  • Sign Up to Receive Blog Posts Via E-mail – You can now sign up to have OAC blog posts delivered to your e-mail inbox. All you have to do is visit the OAC blog and click the "Follow blog via e-mail" button.
