In Module 6, you will learn:
  • How to plan for change and promote a systemic approach to implementation of formative instructional practices.
  • About the conditions, structures, and processes needed to sustain formative instructional practices.
  • How to lead a quality implementation of formative instructional practices in your school or district by modeling and supporting the practices.

Time to complete: 1.5-2 hours

In Module 7, you will learn:
  • How to plan for change and promote a systemic approach to implementation of formative instructional practices.
  • How to leverage blended learning and professional learning teams.
  • How to sustain the implementation of formative instructional practices.
  • How to provide teachers effective feedback as they learn about their practice.

Time to complete: 1.5-2 hours

The handbook is organized into five sections:
  • Section 1: Prepare to Launch FIP Your School – Guidance on identifying your team and how to get familiar with the FIP Your School tools.
  • Section 2: Plan Your Implementation – Strategies for setting the right conditions and following the implementation pathway milestones.
  • Section 3: Document and Monitor Your Plan – Tools to document your plan and collect evidence about your implementation.
  • Section 4: Advance Your Practice – Teacher and leadership self-assessments and student survey tools to encourage effective feedback and reflection about practice.
  • Section 5: Appendices – A comprehensive inventory of FIP Your School tools, references to other resources, and a guide to mapping a plan for blended learning.
